Travertine
Restoration in
Aventura, FL
Aventura’s luxury condos, oceanfront towers, and high-rise lobbies were built with honed travertine for good reason — its matte, light-diffusing surface is the ideal material for the intense Atlantic glare that pours through floor-to-ceiling glass. When age, traffic, and mineral buildup dim that surface, we restore it completely.

South Florida’s Most
Installed Natural Stone,
Expertly Restored
Walk through any of Aventura’s premier towers — Williams Island, Turnberry Ocean Club, Porto Vita, Oceana Bal Harbour — and the floors beneath your feet are almost certainly travertine. Designers specify it obsessively for oceanfront high-rises for a precise functional reason: its honed, matte surface diffuses the intense Atlantic glare that floods through floor-to-ceiling glass, preventing the visual fatigue that polished marble or reflective tile would create in those sun-saturated environments.
But travertine is also a porous, calcium-based stone that accumulates hard water mineral deposits from Aventura’s water supply, wears under foot traffic, and fills its natural voids with dirt over time. When that happens, the surface that was chosen specifically for its soft, ambient quality becomes dull, spotted, and visually tired. We restore it — hole filling, honing, mineral treatment, and UV-stable penetrating sealing — in a single visit for most projects.

Roman, Silver, Noce, and Ivory travertine each require different color-matched fill materials, different finish targets, and different sealer selection. We handle all four correctly.
Condo & High-Rise Ready
We understand elevator protection, HOA access windows, noise-sensitive hours, and building manager requirements throughout the Aventura and Bal Harbour corridor.
Indoor & Outdoor Travertine
Interior floors and outdoor pool decks, patios, and coping require different sealers. We carry UV-stable, slip-resistant products for outdoor applications throughout South Florida.
Travertine in Every
Aventura Property Type
From Williams Island penthouse floors to Turnberry pool decks to Bal Harbour lobby entrances — travertine restoration is needed across every property category in this corridor.
Complete Travertine
Restoration Services
Every travertine variety, every surface type, every damage condition — hole filling, honing, mineral treatment, etch removal, pool deck sealing, and full restoration for Aventura’s luxury properties.
Hole Filling & Void Repair
Color-matched fill material for every travertine variety — warm ivory for Roman, grey-toned for Silver, dark walnut for Noce. We test fill color on-site before proceeding across your floor.
Diamond Honing & Scratch Removal
Progressive diamond abrasives remove foot traffic wear, scratch patterns, and surface unevenness. We restore the smooth, consistent honed surface that Aventura designers specified originally.
Hard Water Mineral Removal
Aventura’s water supply leaves white mineral deposits on travertine that are especially visible on darker varieties like Noce and Silver. Our de-calcification treatments dissolve them completely.
Pool Deck & Outdoor Restoration
Aventura’s oceanfront buildings subject their travertine pool decks to UV, salt air, pool chemicals, and constant wetting cycles. We restore and reseal with UV-stable, slip-resistant products rated for these conditions.
Etch & Stain Removal
Acid contact from cleaning products, citrus, and wine creates dull etch patches on travertine. Organic staining from plants and food penetrates pores. We treat both before any honing or sealing begins.
Penetrating Sealer Application
Interior-grade sealers for floors and showers, UV-stable moisture-resistant sealers for pool decks and terraces. We never apply topical coatings that peel and trap dirt — only penetrating protection.
Travertine Before &
After Results
Real travertine restoration projects — honed floors brought back from dullness and mineral damage, pool decks resealed, void fills color-matched, and Aventura units transformed in a single day.

Four Steps to
Travertine That Looks New
The same four-step process we’ve refined over 15 years — applied with the care and building-access protocols that Aventura’s luxury condos and high-rises require.
Deep Clean & Assess
We strip mineral deposits, contaminants, and old sealers, then assess void condition, finish level, and staining. A color-matched fill test is done on-site before any work begins.
Fill & Hone
Color-matched void filling comes first, then progressive diamond honing removes scratches, etch marks, and surface unevenness — restoring a smooth, consistent plane.
Treat & Polish
Any remaining staining is addressed with poultice or enzymatic treatment. The surface is then brought to the specified finish — matte hone, satin, or semi-polish per your preference.
Seal & Protect
We apply penetrating sealer appropriate to the installation — interior-grade for floors and showers, UV-stable for pool decks and terraces. Never a topical coating that peels.

Questions Aventura Clients
Ask Before Booking
Why is my travertine floor looking dull and grey?
The most common causes in Aventura are hard water mineral film from the water supply, micro-scratches from foot traffic, and breakdown of the original sealer. All three are surface-level conditions fully reversed by professional restoration. We assess the specific cause during your free on-site estimate and confirm the approach before any work begins.
Do you match the fill color to my travertine?
Yes — color-matched void filling is one of the most important steps in travertine restoration, and we test the fill color in a small area on-site before proceeding. We carry warm ivory fill for Roman travertine, grey-toned material for Silver, dark walnut for Noce, and cream-matched products for Ivory travertine. The wrong fill color stands out immediately on any travertine variety.
Can you restore travertine pool decks in Aventura?
Yes — pool deck and outdoor travertine restoration is one of our most common services in the Aventura corridor. South Florida’s combination of UV, pool chemicals, salt air, and constant wet-dry cycling is particularly hard on travertine coping and decking. We clean, fill, hone, and reseal with UV-stable penetrating sealers rated for outdoor conditions and pool chemical exposure.
Can you work inside our condo building?
Yes — we regularly restore travertine in Aventura, Bal Harbour, and Sunny Isles condo buildings. We protect elevators, transitions, cabinetry, and surrounding surfaces before any work begins, work within HOA and building-manager-specified hours, and leave zero mess. We can coordinate directly with your building management team if needed.
How long does travertine restoration take?
A typical travertine floor of 400–800 sq ft — the size of most Aventura condo main living areas — is completed in one full day including void filling, honing, and sealing. Larger floors, pool decks, and projects with significant void deterioration may require an additional day. We provide an exact timeline during your free estimate.
What cleaner should I use on travertine after restoration?
Only pH-neutral stone cleaners — never vinegar, citrus, bleach, or any cleaner not specifically rated for natural stone. Our Lavender Neutral Marble Cleaner is pH-neutral, safe for all travertine varieties, and leaves no residue or film. We include a complimentary bottle with every restoration service over $1,000.
