Every stone behaves differently under a polishing pad. Below is what we restore most often across South Florida homes, from the softness of onyx to the density of granite — and what each one specifically needs to come back to life.
Marble
Marble is calcite-based, which makes it beautiful and genuinely soft — it etches from acid (citrus, wine, vinegar) and scratches more easily than granite or quartzite. Every variety below gets honed, polished, and sealed to its own finish, not a one-size treatment.
- Calacatta Marble Restoration — bold white marble with dramatic, wide gold-grey veining.
- Carrara Marble Restoration — the classic soft grey-white Italian marble with fine, feathery veining.
- Statuario Marble Restoration — bright white background with bold, sculptural grey veining.
- Thassos White Marble Restoration — near-pure white marble, prized for its clean, minimal look.
- Nero Marquina Marble Restoration — dramatic black marble threaded with fine white veining.
- Crema Marfil Marble Restoration — warm ivory-beige marble with soft, subtle veining.
- Emperador Marble Restoration — rich chocolate-brown marble with fine light veining.
- Botticino Marble Restoration — warm beige marble with a soft, uniform veined texture.
Travertine & Limestone
Travertine and limestone are porous by nature — pitting, holes, and staining come with the territory, especially on pool decks and terraces exposed to South Florida sun and salt air. We fill, hone, and seal with penetrating sealers rated for that exposure.
- Ivory Travertine Restoration — light, warm-toned travertine common on patios and pool surrounds.
- Noce Travertine Restoration — deeper walnut-brown travertine with rich natural veining.
- Roman Travertine Restoration — classic beige-gold travertine with a warm, weathered character.
- Silver Travertine Restoration — cool grey-toned travertine, popular for contemporary exteriors.
- French Limestone Restoration — soft, honed limestone with a quiet, matte character.
- Jura Limestone Restoration — dense grey-beige limestone flecked with natural fossil texture.
Granite & Quartzite
Granite and quartzite are the hardest stones we work on — they hold up to daily wear far better than marble, but that density means dulling and etching still show, just more slowly. Diamond polishing restores the original shine without replacing the surface.
- Absolute Black Granite Restoration — deep, near-solid black granite with a glass-like polish.
- Blue Pearl Granite Restoration — dark granite with striking blue-silver crystal shimmer.
- Ubatuba Granite Restoration — dark green-black granite with fine gold and green flecking.
- White Ice Granite Restoration — pale white-grey granite with subtle icy crystal movement.
- Super White Quartzite Restoration — soft grey-white quartzite that reads like marble, wears like granite.
- Taj Mahal Quartzite Restoration — warm cream quartzite with gentle linen-like movement.
Onyx & Specialty Stone
Onyx and soapstone are the most delicate surfaces we touch — onyx is often backlit and translucent, soapstone is soft enough to scratch with a fingernail. Both call for a lighter hand than marble.
- Green Onyx Restoration — translucent green banding, often used in backlit feature walls.
- White Onyx Restoration — soft white-grey translucent stone with flowing natural bands.
- Soapstone Restoration — soft, dense stone with a smooth, matte grey-green finish.
